Discover over 80 beautiful earthy tones with our Lime paint colour testers and bring your project to life!
How do I choose the right paint colour?
Looking for the perfect paint colour but don’t know where to start? No worries! We’re here to help you choose the right shade and the best type of paint for your project. Take, for example, our extensive range of Lime paint, with over 80 earthy tones from beige to taupe to dusty pink.
This collection brings out the most stunning shades, each one more beautiful than the last. While they may look gorgeous on screen, how do they actually look in your space? It’s essential to visualise this before making your final decision.
Luckily, our colour testers offer the perfect solution. With our testers, you can try out different shades directly on your wall and see how a particular colour reacts to the natural and/or artificial light in your living space. This way, you can confidently choose the shade that suits your interior best.
I’ve ordered the tester. Now what?
You’ve eagerly set out on a mission to gather the most beautiful natural tones. The testers have arrived at your doorstep, and you can’t wait to try them but how should you go about it? No worries, we’ve got you covered!
If your wall is already painted, you can apply the tester directly onto it. Is your wall freshly plastered? Then it’s a good idea to also apply the EcoPrimer tester. EcoPrimer reduces the absorbency of the surface, preventing the wall from soaking up too much of the paint. And don’t forget to order our handy brush! With these essentials, you’ll be ready to go with your Lime paint tester.
Stir the paint thoroughly to create a smooth mixture. Then apply it to the wall with texture. Want to compare the paint colour to your door or skirting board? Apply a small amount near the frame to see how well it matches. If you’ve ordered multiple testers, apply the colours from light to dark to keep a clear overview. That way, you'll know exactly which colour is which, top to bottom.
Keep in mind that the colour in the tester pot may look darker than it does once dry, so make sure you label or remember your test areas. Allow the first coat to dry for at least 6 hours. Then apply the second coat of Lime paint and wait patiently for it to dry. And voilà, you're ready to make a well-informed colour decision.
