Keep your Microcement wall or floor in top condition!

You have just applied your Microcement and naturally want it to always look like new. No worries, the handy Microcement maintenance set is the perfect solution. This set contains our special cleaner and maintenance wax, two essential products to protect your floor or wall from dirt and stains.

Microcement has a naturally porous structure, but the protective coating allows it to repel water and dirt. The coating is crucial because it not only protects your Microcement but also prevents cracks and damage from affecting the top layer.

To nourish this coating layer and provide it with an extra layer of protection, our maintenance wax is the ideal choice.

Be careful with chemical cleaning agents, these can damage the coating. For this reason, we have developed a special cleaning agent.

By cleaning your floor or wall only once a week with our cleaning product, you will effortlessly remove dirt and keep the coating intact.

What else can you do to protect your Micorcement surface?

The Microcement coating does not withstand certain agents very well. It is better not to use acidic products such as lime removers, hydrochloric acid, lemon juice or carbonated drinks, for example.

These agents should be removed from the surface immediately if they get onto our coating. They damage the coating layer. These damages cannot be removed with our maintenance products either.

As mentioned earlier, Microcement is also not resistant to aggressive cleaning agents, such as chlorine, drain unblockers and ammonia. These agents are too powerful and can also cause damage to our coating.

Note that rust or silver shampoo can affect the colour of your Microcement surface, as can prolonged contact with certain oils that can leave circles.

If you do want to clean your Microcement daily, use lukewarm water and a mild, neutral detergent. An ecological variant from Ecover, for example, is a good choice, as it contains natural ingredients that are nutritious for the coating layer of Microcement.

Use a cloth or mop from Jemako to clean the floor, as it keeps the surface intact without causing damage. Avoid using scouring sponges as they can scratch the surface.

It is best to clean once a week with our Microcement maintenance kit and otherwise use as few cleaning agents as possible. That way it stays nice and easy, right?

So in summary, let's keep the maintenance of your Microcement nice and easy. Clean weekly with our detergent and maintenance wax and dust once a week the rest of the week. And if it's really dirty, you can always clean the floor with lukewarm water. That way you can keep your Microcement in top condition without too much fuss!
