Ardex R1C is a strong and easy-to-use levelling compound for smoothing and plastering interior walls and ceilings. Ideal for both renovation and new-build projects, and the perfect substrate for Microcement, paint or decorative plaster finishes.
The compound adheres extremely well to tiles, plasterboard and gypsum blocks, and easily fills cracks, holes and joints. Thanks to its special formulation, Ardex R1C remains low-tension, flexible and crack-free with layer thicknesses up to 10 mm. Within a single day, the surface can be painted or finished.

How to apply
Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and stable. Mix with water to a smooth mortar (12.5 litres per 25 kg of powder).
Processing time: approx. 30 minutes at 20°C. After approx. 40 minutes, the surface can be smoothed or sponged.
After 1 day, the surface is dry and ready for the next layer.
