Create a waterproof and stable base
Moisture in the substrate must be avoided. Use waterproof tape (kimband) in all corners and joints, and apply Aquastop around the drain. This protects vulnerable edges from movement caused by temperature changes in the bathroom.
Installing over existing tiles? Check them first

- Hollow sound? Remove the tile.
- Solid sound? The tiles can stay, and the floor can be levelled afterwards.
