Ardex R1C is a versatile, cement-based levelling compound suitable for both dry and damp interior areas. Thanks to its smooth workability and strong adhesion, it’s the ideal preparation layer for Microcement, paint or plaster finishes.
The compound is suitable for many substrates, including plaster, tiles, concrete, cement and lime-cement render, masonry, plasterboard, gypsum fibreboard and gypsum blocks. Layer thickness can go up to 10 mm without the risk of cracking or shrinkage.
For the best result, ensure the substrate is dry, solid and clean. Remove old plaster layers, wallpaper or poorly adhering paint so Ardex R1C can bond properly and create a smooth, durable surface.
• 1 kg = approx. 1 m² (depending on layer thickness)
• 5 kg = approx. 5 m²
• 25 kg = approx. 25 m²
