Bio paint coating is a matt, transparent coating that protects decorative paint finishes against dirt and light wear. It is water-based, virtually odourless and easy to apply. The coating has been developed for Concrete effect paint, Japandi paint, Lime paint and Wall paint from betonlookstore.com

When do you choose a coating?

• You want to make your wall easier to clean.
• You apply the coating in areas such as a toilet, kitchen splashback or hallway.
• You want extra protection without a glossy finish.

Finish and appearance
Our paints have a naturally ultra-matt finish. Bio Paint Coating retains this matt appearance, although certain lighting conditions, such as daylight or ambient lighting, may reveal a subtle change or slight sheen. The coating will also make the colour appear approximately one shade darker.

Please note: the matting agents in the coating may create a light haze on terracotta and dark colours. We therefore do not recommend Bio Paint Coating for these shades. If you still wish to apply the coating or are unsure about the result, always test it first on a colour sample or an inconspicuous area.

Coverage and application

• Coverage: approx. 10–12 m² per litre
• Application: one thin coat
• Tools: short-pile paint roller or special effect brush
• Application method: spread evenly, do not re-roll
