Plaster types from A to Z, for your green project
You’ve landed on our plaster page. At betonlookstore.com, we want your project to run smoothly. That’s why we explain exactly what to prepare before working with Microcement or Loam plaster.
A good result starts with the substrate. You’ll need a solid, smooth wall — essentially a plastered, levelled surface. We recommend having your walls finished to Class A (paint-ready). Prefer doing it yourself? Use our Ardex R1C and follow the steps in the manual to achieve a smooth finish.
Microcement
Microcement is a ready-to-use plaster paste — ideal for DIY projects. No mixing with water or pigments is required. The paste is supplied ready to apply, similar to a wall filler, but with a genuine concrete effect.
Apply Microcement in a thin coat of 0.3 to 0.6 mm. A well-prepared surface ensures the best result.
Microcement is suitable for walls, floors, furniture and bathrooms.
In our webshop, you’ll find complete kits — from furniture kits to bathroom kits — so you have everything you need in one go. Follow the steps in the manual and the job becomes surprisingly easy.
Loam plaster
If you prefer a natural, breathable finish, choose our Loam plaster. This plaster is fully ecological and contributes to a healthy indoor climate. Mix the loam powder yourself with water and natural pigments. The manual guides you step by step towards the perfect result.
Loam plaster is suitable for dry rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms or hallways. It gives walls a warm, earthy look that brings calm and balance into your home.
