Why is our Texture paint resistant to moisture?
Our Texture paint is highly resistant to moisture thanks to the breathable and moisture-regulating properties of its natural ingredients. Slaked lime and calcium carbonate allow the wall to breathe by absorbing and releasing moisture, which helps prevent mould and damp build-up.
Marble powder provides a strong, water-resistant finish, while vinyl resin makes the paint water-repellent, ensuring that moisture cannot penetrate the surface. How do I apply Texture paint to my walls?
Always start with a layer of EcoPrimer Coarse. This primer works in harmony with our Texture paint, allowing the surface to breathe and making it more resistant to condensation and light rain. Then apply two coats of Texture paint using a block brush, working in half-moon or criss-cross motions. Voilà – your wall is done!
On which surfaces can I apply Texture paint?
Texture paint can be applied to almost any solid surface, such as brick, plaster based on gypsum, cement, or lime, as well as exterior stucco. Avoid using it on wood or surfaces with a plastic coating, as the paint will not adhere properly. For the best result, always use EcoPrimer coarse as an adhesion layer.
