Product Description

The Microcement base coat is a technical underlayer designed for floors and solidly built furniture, such as tables reinforced with mesh. The base coat is applied at approximately 1 mm thickness and provides additional body and stability beneath the Microcement finish. It fills minor imperfections and improves adhesion and durability. Not intended as a final finish.

Suitable Substrates

• Self-levelling floors
• Cement-based substrates
• Gypsum-based substrates
• Aerated concrete (Ytong)
• Wood
• MDF

Condition: The substrate must be solid, stable, and dust-free.

Application

• Apply the Microcement base coat in a layer of approx. 1 mm thickness
• Use a trowel or spack knife
• Allow the base coat to dry thoroughly, then lightly sand before applying the Microcement finish
• Always consult the full application manual for correct use.

Coverage

± 1 kg per m² in one layer
Coverage is based on a smooth surface
