Product Description
Discover the natural finish of Clay paint from betonlook.nl. Clay paint is tinted with dry, natural powder pigments and is 100% ecological. The paint is safe to apply, suitable for people with allergies, and gives walls a subtle concrete effect with a calm and soft appearance.
Suitable Substrates
Clay paint is suitable for indoor use on mineral and absorbent substrates, such as:
Unsuitable substrates include oil-based paint layers and heavily powdering (chalky) lime paint layers.
Primer Selection
Always use EcoPrimer to smooth the surface and improve adhesion.
Application
Mix the dry color pigments into the clay powder.
Add approx. 125 ml of water per kg of clay paint and stir thoroughly.
Apply the first layer with a roller (optional).
Apply the second layer with a block brush for a beautiful effect.
For extra texture: apply both layers with a block brush.
Coverage
± 6 to 8 m² per kg in two layers.
Protection
Clay paint is naturally vapor-permeable and intended as a final finish.
Optionally, an ecological beeswax finish can be applied for light protection and enhanced color depth. Suitable for dry rooms, apply thinly, slight yellowing may occur.
Important Information
Clay paint can be returned unopened and unmixed within 14 days of the purchase date.
Always order a color sample or tester first.
Shelf life unopened: at least 48 months. Store dry and frost-free.
